The parish council mourns the death of former councillor and committee member, David Warr. David joined the council in 2018 with the intention of finally getting the long-awaited sports pavilion built. As a retired architect he project managed the build on behalf of the council and the result is the magnificent Jubilee Pavilion that Kingston Colts and KB Cricket Club have use of today. David stepped down as a councillor at the local elections of 2023 but continued to be a member of the parish council’s planning committee, giving the council the benefit of his vast local knowledge and of all things architectural. He is a sad loss to the community and will be much missed.
